Gordon McDougall is a season entrepreneur. He has been the driving force that founded or co-founded 15 companies in diverse industries. Many of the companies raised substantial funding and several became publicly traded. He is a professionally trained coach for both individuals and teams, was a stockbroker and has been a trusted advisor to many high-growth companies. As an entrepreneur he has weathered the stormy seas of commerce and has learned some powerful lessons from the successes and even more powerful lessons from the failures.
What inspired and drove him to create Tezi Advisory is to share his deep experience, knowledge and worldwide contacts with his fellow entrepreneurs and help as much as is humanly possible be a guide and a catalyst for their success.
Sandra is also the Managing Director, Capstone Ridge Group, that helps organizations improve performance by building their capacity to innovate and transform through the integration of people, process and technology. We facilitate improvements to both internal and market facing operations along 3 lines of competency – Innovation, Enablement & Sustainment.

John Juhlke is the Director of Operations at Tango Financial and an active angel investor.
Since 1999, John’s professional roles have led him to develop his natural bias for relationship building and mentorship. With this approach, he has been able to create a culture of performance and consistency within the teams that he has lead. He spent the first part of his career as a sales and operations leader at two big brand firms, Pepsi and Labatt.
His success in growing market share and developing sales talent at these two companies led him to his next opportunity in the financial services industry at an independent, Canadian Investment firm.
During his 12 years at the firm, John spent time in various roles such as Vice President of Sales, National Sales Manager and eventually moved into the role of President in 2014. As President, he spent his time focused on the critical function of the business leading all departments including Sales, Marketing and Communication, Client Services, Key Accounts, Finance and working closely with the Investment Management Team.
John is very proud to be a part of the team at Tango and looks forward to helping the firm lead change and innovation in the mortgage broker community.

Eric was an early member and investor on the SkipTheDishes team. Eric is also an investor in Tango Financial Holdings, Inc. and eBuyNow e-commerce Corporation.
At SkipTheDishes, Eric is an Operations Project Manager and heads up the Delivery Logistics teams for North American, Australian and UK operations. Eric has been a member of the Skip team since early 2014 when the business was less than 20 people. He has held various roles as the business has scaled to the point where his team leverages machine learning technology to manage millions of orders per month and now has approximately 2,000 employees.
Eric holds a B.Comm (Honours) from the Asper School of Business with a major in International Business.
Robinson Smith operates a number of companies out of Victoria, B.C, on Vancouver Island. Robinson has an extensive history in the investment space, both international and retail.
Robinson spent approximately eight years studying and working in China in sectors as diverse as contracts with the Canadian Foreign Service in Beijing, project development in the energy sector, and investment banking where he served as Vice President for The Balloch Group, a boutique international investment bank based in Beijing founded by the former Canadian Ambassador to China.
Robinson returned to Canada from Asia and joined Smith Consulting Group Ltd. back in early 2006 as an investment advisor. From 2006 until he sold his advisory business in 2018, Robinson built up his practice to well over $100 million in assets under administration.
Throughout the years Robinson has invested in a number of start-up and early stage businesses. Currently he advises companies on business and development strategy including go public strategies.
Robinson has a double major in Chinese and Economics from the University of Victoria and an MBA in International Business from Simon Fraser University.

Rich Benci is the former President of RealAge, Inc.. He grew the company, which was co-founded by Dr. Memhet Oz and Dr. Michael Roizen, from pre-revenue, through surviving the dot-com bust, to $20M in annual revenue, which lead to a successful acquisition by Hearst Magazines in 2007. Mr. Benci has over 20 years of senior management experience in sales, marketing, and operations. He has been part of five start-up companies with three of them successfully acquired by larger entities, and one completed a successful IPO.
Paul is an experienced commercial strategist who led the international expansion of two BusinessWeek “Hot Growth Companies” (and survived two successful IPOs). He currently leads a joint-venture between two global training organizations focused on delivering leadership development and executive coaching services in China, India, Russia and other select European and Asian markets. Paul has over 15 years of executive-level experience building and growing public companies, as well as personally advising many of the world’s leading companies on issues ranging from HR strategy to international marketing and sales. Prior to his current role Paul served as European Managing Director for The Corporate Executive Board, Inc. where he lead the development of advisory programs serving senior-most executives in Sales, Marketing, Strategy and Human Resources.
Peter Henricsson is a Venture Capitalist and Angel Investor. He coaches emerging companies in strategic planning and management. He was a founder of CellPoint Inc. in 1996 and grew that company, as Chairman and CEO, to the NASDAQ National Market until he retired in 2002. CellPoint was headquartered in Stockholm and later London and was a leader in location-based technologies for European Mobile Phone Carriers. Between 1986 and 1996, he worked in North America in executive positions with start-up and emerging companies. Mr. Henricsson has an MBA and studied at Uppsala University and NC State University.
Caren Holtby is an amazing business strategist and successful at developing the plan to fund a company to the next stage. She has spent over 25 years applying these skills in investor relations with small growth companies. Ms. Holtby has exceptional experience in the small business sector, having been part of winning teams that took small companies from early beginnings, through public listing to successful exits reaching valuations of $50 million to over $100 million.
Mary Ellen Sanajko
Mary Ellen Sanajko is a Certified Individual and Team Coach whose 22 year career includes software sales and marketing, IT management, training, facilitation, and executive and team coaching. With endless enthusiasm, Ms. Sanajko supports leaders and their teams to become positive and productive in their interactions with each other, their colleagues, their customers, and whoever else they touch. Chris Venn is a former bodyguard, trained by ex-members of the British Special Forces and learned early in his career how to create safety when people needed it the most, and how to perform at his very best when it mattered most – when people’s lives were on the line. After five years of protecting some of the most important people in the country, he shifted gears and started a consultancy business, then became a partner in a technology firm, and finally is working as an entrepreneur globally. Glen Wallace is a Certified General Accountant with over 25 years of experience in business administration, accounting and the formation, acquisition, administration and restructuring of publicly listed companies. He was a partner in the accounting firm of Austin Chan & Wallace for six years and has held various positions with public companies, including Director and Chief Financial Officer. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from Laurentian University and an Advanced Specialty Certificate in Forensic and Investigative Accounting with distinction from BCIT. Mr. Wallace brings extensive skills in regulatory compliance, finance and administration of emerging companies.

Joanna Van Vleck’s creates businesses and encourages other companies to be customer focused. After building Trunk Club (www.trunkclub.com), an organization based around the preferences of the customer, Joanna began helping other companies build relationships with their client base. Once the relationship strategy is built around the consumer, she also guides companies to mass market messaging through current and cutting edge marketing streams. Ms. Van Vleck is also brilliant at creating and executing viral and public relations campaigns, with a proven track record of increased revenues.
